The Ark of Love Foundation currently house the Ark of Love Skills Training and Activity Center which provides services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities including Supervised Community Living, Supported Living, Adult Training, Supported Work, Adult Activity and Information and Referral. The Ark of Love Foundation currently house the Ark of Love Skills Training and Activity Center which provides services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities including Supervised Community Living, Supported Living, Adult Training, Supported Work, Adult Activity and Information and Referral. The need for services is evidenced from appropriate assessments and/or evaluations in the following areas; self-care, learning, receptive and expressive language, independent living, self-direction, and economic self-sufficiency. (The Ark of Love Foundation Skills Training and Activity Center will conduct or obtain evaluations and assessments necessary to serve as a foundation for each person’s Individualized Service Plan.) Supports, to include training and activities will be provided based on each individual’s ISP. Individuals attending the Training Center will do so for a period of not less than five (5) hours daily, Monday through Friday. Each individual that attends the AOLSTAC Training Center will be responsible for bringing his/her own midday meal if attending the Training Center. Transportation by the AOLSTAC from specified pick-up points is available. Service’s and supports provided to individuals in their own home, family home or Supervised Community Living program will be based on the Individual Service Plan developed by the Habilitation Team.

The Ark of Love foundation holds to the philosophy that individuals can become productive and interdependent members of society if provided adequate support.
Services provided by the Ark of Love Foundation include residential services, adult training, job placement and direct assistance, and are intended to provide a network of support that will enrich the lives of individuals served.
